Thought Adjuster: “Lighten your load. Remove every thought that keeps you tied up by the chains of confusion, lack of faith, and uncertainty. You are a child of God, destined to live a mortal life. This mortal experience is not an experience of sorrow and fear. It is an experience of growth, of strengthening, of maturation in every way this is implied. Your time in this school is for learning, but it doesn’t have to be an austere, sad, or joyless time. Joy, hope, and a spirit of adventure are the hallmarks of those who have discovered what their destinies are, and have learned that this life is just a drop in the ocean of eternity.
“Today, while you walked outside, you could feel that the world was perfect, just the way it is. You were able to feel this way because you were in a situation that was favorable to you – a ‘good’ situation – according to your idea of what is good and beautiful. However, when those dark and rainy days come around, it would serve you well to remember that rain, as well as sunshine, are both gifts from your Father. The dark days, as much as the sunny days, are here to teach you something. The cold of winter is not more or less beautiful than the warmth of spring. Both are part of the cycle of changes of this sphere, and they are necessary for rebirth and renewal. Similarly, in your life you will go through periods which you will not consider to be pleasant, but these are necessary in order to transform you into a better human being.
“However, once you have gone through a hard winter, don’t you get a new appreciation for spring? Even those days of intense cold become more bearable with the hope of spring, which inevitably will come. Likewise, when you go through difficult times, always remember that better times will surely arrive.
“Fear and anxiety are not necessary, nor must you avoid the normal problems in life. Don’t let fear paralyze you and prevent you from advancing. Learn to trust in the One who has decided to go through this life with you, living what you live, and at the same time serving as your Guide – a light in the darkness and a steady hand you can hold at any time you need this.”

The Beloved One: “Yes, wait before Me in the Silence, until you feel that holy hush enveloping you. You are then ready to receive further instructions of ‘you know not what’. It is in the fullest trust on your part, not knowing what to expect, that you come before Me, and this, child, is the exact subject about which I will teach you more. It is trust that can only grow, as you cannot see Me, and yet you hope that I will really be there.
“Human hope about the unseen God leads to faith, and eventually trust. This trust is not something that you acquire overnight. It is built, stone by stone, so to speak. A lot of doubt needs to be overcome. And still, often do you doubt and ask yourself: ‘Is this real?’
“I Am telling you now, child, that the more you trust in Me and listen to My Still Small Voice within you, the easier your trusting in Me becomes.
“Trust is not innate in humans on this small planet called Urantia. Eons ago this world suffered great betrayals and upheavals. It did so even long before the so-called fall of your Adam and Eve, the Material Son and Daughter, who were sent here to biologically uplift the creatures of this planet.
“The long ago time I am speaking of was ages before the days of Adam and Eve, when the System Sovereign, Lucifer, went astray and refuted the existence of the Eternal God. Your planetary Prince of that time, Caligastia, was easily swayed by Lucifer’s emissary, Satan, who was sent here especially for the purpose of winning over Caligastia and have him denounce God.
“Your olden records are not accurate, as the most important events were either not recorded, or later deleted from the translations.
“Further to the matter of trust: The people of that far distant time had barely developed the minds to think independently. Great confusion resulted, which is still being borne out today in your disparate belief systems. Had everything gone as planned, your planet would have been in a far better state than is the case right now. War would have been a thing of the past and most of the diseases, which presently run rampant on this planet, would long ago have been eradicated.
“This then is the aftermath due to lack of trust in the One Eternal God and His various agencies sent to help uplift the mortal races on the planets of time and space. We will touch on the subject of trust another time, but you need to know why suspicion has become such a spirit poison. Suspicion simply reflects a lack of trust.”

Subject: “Alignment: The Key to Inward Movement.”

Teacher Ophelius: “The message for today, dear one, is about the relationship between the Spirit and the soul – how both are necessary to answer the Creator’s call to perfection through the accumulation of those experiences that are derived of Truth, Beauty, and Goodness. Growth of the soul is attained through cooperation with the Indwelling Spirit, yet free will choice determines the quality of the experiences for which the Spirit will retain and counterpart those experiences for both the soul and for the Supreme Being. Finding that ‘alignment’ with the Will of God ensures the experience and the wisdom gleaned thereof will be deposited in the seat of the soul where progress is made and the character of that personality is more perfected and god-like than it was a moment before. ‘Alignment’ therefore, becomes the key to inward movement, growth, and unity with God.
“Life on your world and the struggles you face in your daily life provides the opportunity for you to choose which experiences you will have and how those choices affect the lives of those in your circles. Alignment with the Father’s Will occurs in two general ways:
When a connection is made with other souls where what you do or say has an influence that shapes the thought life or the path of that individual in a positive way where they ‘move’ inward from where they were before having contact with you.
Seed sowing.
Leading by example.
Selfless acts of love and compassion free from judgment and recompense.
Spirit inspiration.
The realization of truth and the free will capitulation of error.
The appreciation for, or the co-creation of beauty.
The free will choice to do good works (positive intention).
“In either case, ‘following the heart’ leads to alignment for both the God knowing individual and those that are moving toward divine awareness. Those that serve the self or gratify the selfish desires of the ego are not in alignment with the Will of God and so those decisions and experiences are not likely to survive and become a part of the soul-character unless they are the catalyst for positive change – those experiences that teach lessons that ‘move’ the individual to think and act in ‘alignment’ with God’s Will.
“The Indwelling Spirit, as the Master Operator, coordinates and guides by giving you the opportunity to look inward before making choices, thus providing you the inspiration to act in alignment with the Will of God. When you pause and look within the deep pool of divine love and knowledge, the contrast with the desires of the ego become apparent, and your decisions then become a matter of self-will to act in whole or in part with the Divine Will.

Mentor: “There are those in the Celestial Hierarchy whose words are soft, whose attitudes are always gentle, and whose demeanors always reflect their smiles. They are the best teachers to those who are willing to learn. And then there are those in the Hierarchy who are designed to be most practical in their nature. Their lessons are to the point, at times blunt and insistent. That is the way of Progress, and that is also why Machiventa Melchizedek is here in charge.
“Machiventa, as are all members of his order, is one of the most practical Celestials in this local universe. We, the Mentori, complete the greater part of our education under the patronage of the Melchizedek colleges. We learn to be concise. This lesson of today is boldly about freedom and equality. This is a timely lesson for those of the Western world since your freedom is impaired, and any semblance of equality is no longer to be found.
“As a follow-up on the previous lesson by the Chief (ABC-22) on the subject ‘One Government and Light and Life’ we cover the subject of patriotism and nationalism. There is a vast difference between the two, for true Patriotism endeavors to do the right thing to all, and all of the time. Nationalism, in contrast, divides, and sees the individual or the group as better, or more important, than any other. Nationalism can have some horrific results if taken to the extreme.
“We cover the subject of privatization, and especially in a democracy, where there has been no vote taken by the populace, privatization impinges on both freedom and equality. Firstly, in having no voice, one’s freedom to decide, if something that is to be publicly owned or privately owned, has been annulled. Secondly, something that was part owned by all is now taken away to benefit a much lesser number of individuals. Indeed, it is a form of theft, and inequality.
“There are a lot of sides to freedom and equality for your generation, right here at the present time – more than enough to deal with. For the likes of us Mentori, our focus has shifted to how we will advise the coming generations, your grandchildren and great-grandchildren who will find much of their birthright squandered by the excesses of their grandparents and great-grandparents. Should you leave the next generation in material poverty, at least prepare them spiritually.
“Here, I feel, I have answered all of the questions read from your print (print-out), and this constitutes all you will receive on economic matters from the Mentori for now.”
George: “Thank you, your answers to his (the subscriber’s) questions will be passed on in good time.”

Teacher Ophelius: “I am not worthy of salvation, for I have lived a life that is less than holy, and I cannot stand in the presence of my maker with a past like this.” “I have failed so many times; hurt so many with my selfish pride; spoken so harshly with my sharp tongue; looked away from those in need; and never set foot in a house of prayer.” “How can anyone so wretched possibly deserve to live eternally in service to God?” “Wherefore shall I abide when my days here on this world are over?”
“There are many on your world who have now, or at some time in the past, said these very words and felt that they are not worthy of God’s love and mercy, but I tell you there could be no such thing further from the truth, my dear friends. These are the very thoughts of the ‘Prodigal Son’ who after squandering his Father’s inheritance, and living a wonton life, found himself starving in a pigpen in a faraway land – longing for the days when he was in his father’s house. After much lamenting, he decided that he would return home and ask for forgiveness and work as a servant in his father’s house where he would humbly abide and eat bread with the other servants. What did this young man find upon his return?”
“…This father loved this son and was always on the lookout for his return, so that on the day he approached his home, even while he was yet afar off, the father saw him and, being moved with loving compassion, ran out to meet him, and with affectionate greeting he embraced and kissed him. And after they had thus met, the son looked up into his father’s tearful face and said: ‘Father, I have sinned against heaven and in your sight; I am no more worthy to be called a son’ – but the lad did not find opportunity to complete his confession because the overjoyed father said to the servants who had by this time come running up: ‘Bring quickly his best robe, the one I have saved, and put it on him and put the son’s ring on his hand and fetch sandals for his feet.’
“And then, after the happy father had led the footsore and weary lad into the house, he called to his servants: ‘Bring on the fatted calf and kill it, and let us eat and make merry, for this my son was dead and is alive again; he was lost and is found.’ And they all gathered about the father to rejoice with him over the restoration of his son.”
“You see, dear friends, this is the story of us all, for we were not created to be perfect in this life, yet when we come to this place where we can see this imperfection in ourselves, and acknowledge our failures, we stand at the door of great opportunity – to live in the awareness of the Father’s love and mercy where He sees us as yet far off, but waiting with open arms for us to return to Him. We only need to choose to accept His love and mercy and live eternally as His ascending sons and daughters. Once we become aware and choose this path, we live each day with the blessed assurance of knowing our place in the universe as His experiential children who are loved unconditionally. This, my friends, is the beginning of a life of service – one of the Parts contributing to the Whole of creation, where each day we become more like Him, and being more like him, we learn to love and be compassionate toward others who are yet unaware of His great unconditional love and mercy.”

Teacher Prolotheos: “When you finally fuse with your Thought Adjuster, you become a being of a new order, you are then a celestial! You and your Spirit within will become a new being, resulting from the mysterious union between human and divine. Even the most capable authorities in the Universes are unable to discern the former contributors. They will perceive just one new being, surely inheriting from both human and divine attributes, but one single being. What happens at this fusion is simply that your commitment to be what God invited you to be was duly accepted, and you were destined to be one of the marvellous beings of a new order, especially designed by God, called Finaliters. Based on the potentiality that comes with every human being born in this time-space realm, it is perfectly acceptable to say that all present human beings ‘were born for greatness’.
“Being born for greatness does not mean personal glory for the aggrandizement of your ego. It rather means that you have been confirmed to have participated in one of God’s greatest enterprises ever heard of! The ultimate mission of the Finaliters is not yet fully revealed, and therefore not fully understood. It is enshrouded in the expected manifestation of God the Supreme and the appearance of God the Ultimate in a still distant future. Meanwhile, the Finaliters are kept in reserve, or serving on the worlds progressed to the stage of Light and Life – a glorious task indeed, but still very much below the extensive and replete training these ascending sons of God will be subject to for ages and ages.
“Most informed beings in Orvonton, our super-universe, believe that the ultimate assignment of the Finaliters will be in ministering to the fully evolved God the Supreme (alongside the Michaels, now Sovereigns of the Local Universes), on the worlds of the stupendous Outer Universes, now forming, and many times larger than, and well beyond, the now inhabited Grand Universe. That will bring such a divine momentum to God’s creation as never heard or seen before. As your records plainly state: ‘Neither eyes nor ears have seen or heard what God has prepared for those, who in love and obedience have answered His calling to perfection’. And that is a matter of fact, irrespective of the actual context in which it will appear.
“It has been noted that the Finaliters, now being mustered into the Corps of Mortal Finaliters – beings like you from the evolutionary worlds – are, in fact, spirits of the sixth stage. Although they have reached finite perfection, they are still not complete as beings. That should happen when they reach the seventh spirit stage, which many assume will occur concomitant with God the Supreme’s consummation, at which the Finaliters of this universe age will reach their ultimate state. This will not be a state of absolute perfection, but certainly of absonite perfection, mirrored in the perfection of the then fully personalized Supreme, the God of Evolution.
“Yes, each human being, although originating at the lowest existence of animal beings, later granted personality, are indeed destined to greatness – the glory of God – greatness that will extend even to the cycles of eternity! This glorious destiny does not nullify your free-will, not at all. In fact it is the harmonious encounter of two wills – your will and God’s will – that God indeed has a potential Finaliter Being to be manifested, but on you depends this realization – if you really want to be that being, personally idealized by God. In another words: If you, by making the final decision in this life that you want to be with God and like God in your creature condition, by following His will and with the assistance of your Adjuster, that greatness, will surely be your experience for eternity! I am Prolotheos, your celestial tutor, likewise entitled to achieve this glorious destiny.”

Thought Adjuster: “Every single move in the direction of your goals is always effective. Remember that ‘a journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step’. For this journey, would it be better to walk fifteen minutes each day? One hour a week? Or is it better to do nothing? Which approach would take you closer to your destination?
“In human life, many endeavors are abandoned because mortals think they don’t have enough time to dedicate to them. Time is something precious and limited in this world, but many great things can be achieved with very little time to spare, especially if the task is performed in a cumulative fashion, and the time is divided into smaller chunks. Could you write a book of two thousand pages if you contribute twelve hours a day, seven days a week? Maybe you could finish it in a few months. However, what if you don’t have twelve hours each day? What if you only have one hour, a half hour, or fifteen minutes? The only difference would be in the overall duration of the task, but the final objective could be reached without problems.
“In your life don’t let the apparent lack of time prevent you from investing in the important tasks of your spiritual growth. Just a few minutes dedicated to the exploration of spirit, and communion with the presence of the Father within your being, is all that is needed to produce the transformative and revitalizing effects of a more spiritual life. Could you spare fifteen minutes a day to work on your eternal future?
“Explore those things you feel inspired to explore, without being overly concerned about how long the learning will take, or what the outcome may be. Start your endeavors and dedicate whatever time you can contribute to them, without worrying about the completion. Step by step you will notice how through time you have achieved many things you did not believe possible. Live in the present, and on each day do something to move you closer to your goals – take that first single step – and you will surely reach your goal.”

Teacher: “Consider me to be an elder sibling endeavoring to give you some advice about how to behave on this fragile and most chaotic and backward planet. It is so sad to observe the supposed grown-ups on this beloved planet behave like little children in a sandbox, still screaming over ‘it’s mine, no it’s mine’, rather than accepting that all your playmates have equal rights to exist in this very space.
“We, Celestials, deem this planet to have special needs, so extra attention needs to be given her to help her along to mature planet-hood. Her spirit is suffering badly because of all the atrocities being perpetrated on her and heaped upon her innocent head. Truly, the amount of suffering and hurt she is undergoing, through the shenanigans of some thoughtless creatures living upon her, has no resemblance in all of creation with its innumerable inhabited planets.
“When in heaven’s name will you wake up and take responsibility for your actions – rather than being so selfish as to disregard others’ feelings and rights to exist – and urgently walk into others’ sandboxes and start misappropriating their toys and disturbing their peace.
“It is an abomination to the tender loving heart of the Father Creator, to observe the gross abuse of human rights still going on after one of His Sons came some 2000 years ago to proclaim the Fatherhood of God and the Brotherhood of Man. Such is the ideal to strive for. Therefore, search your hearts and learn how you as a species with the precious gift of power of choice are capable of making the right decisions benefiting each man, woman and child.
“Ever keep in mind these three core values by which to live. Number 1 is centered around the quality of life, quantity is not important. However, what is important is that you as a species behave yourselves well in life; as this is crucial to your eternal existence. Number 2 is for you to accept each other as equals, and therefore accord each other respect as well as the same or similar opportunities. Number 3 is to develop the desire to grow and mobilize some of the gifts you have been given at birth for the progress of the planet.
“The eternal Creator gifted you all with a precious personality, which has no duplicate anywhere in all creation. All beings are individual reflections of the God-head, who only gave one commandment: To become as perfect as He is perfect. This is the very reason why you were given life. Have you forgotten or have you never made it your business to find out what the purpose of life could be? Do take some time and put your ‘thinking-caps’ on, or even better; turn within to that special Gift from God.
“Your Thought Adjuster – the God of your being – is ever waiting for you to make that special connection with Him/Her. She/He will always point you in the right direction about how to live when you take the time to listen within. Especially when in doubt, you can check out matters with your Guide from Paradise, who lives and works within to help uplift your thoughts to a higher more befitting level as children of the living God.”

Mathew: “Should you so wonder, I’m here only on a break, and to check on your health on behalf of Dr. Mendoza. It is not I, who will communicate with you and give you the lesson. She is with you right now.”
Urantia: “I am the Planetary Supreme, I am Urantia, I am Gaia, I am your Earth Mother. Everything that is physical about you is of Me – of this earth. Not too many of My children realize that they have three mothers, in fact. Of course they do acknowledge the mother that gave birth to them. Then there is Nebadonia the local Creator Mother who provides them with a mind. Here is something for you to contemplate; that a great deal of effort goes into creating one of you.
“Today I want to speak with you about coping with the mundane, the boring and troublesome, the tasks greatly disliked. Few on this world are so privileged as to be excused from the utterly routine. Boredom can lead to depression, to a lack of self esteem, and so I will give you a win-win situation for these circumstances. The secret to overcoming such boredom and low self-esteem is to dedicate these tasks to the Father, to Michael, Nebadonia, or, yes, to Me.
“In dedicating these dreary and routine tasks you must do them very well, and with excellence in mind, you will find these tasks going smoother even becoming enjoyable. You will find it relatively easy to get out of the mind set that you dislike such kind of work, because you will no longer be performing these tasks because you have to; you are now presenting the results to the Creator Beings that placed you on this world, and who wish to see your personal progress.
“Visualize yourself as a colored stone in a giant mosaic. You do not want to be a dull stone, but a bright and shiny one. Imagine yourself to be a chapter in a massive book. It must be interesting to read your chapter. See yourself as a bright colored thread in an endless bolt of cloth. It is not for you to go unnoticed as dull or gray when you can make a delightful improvement to the pattern. Consider yourself important enough to improve life’s outlook whenever you can.
“You see, my dear children, the routine of dedicating all your boring and mundane tasks to your spiritual Parentage, and by performing them extra well, you will become a happier person, proud of your achievements, peaceful in mind, open in spirit. Your progressive ways will reflect positively into the Morontia Realm, even more so into the Spirit World. Beyond earthly understanding, your seemingly meaningless tedious tasks can progress your world.
“Think of Me, and this lesson, each time you set about dealing with the mundane, and talk to Me, for I love you all. I am Urantia, your Earth Mother. Adieu.”
