Date: May 26, 2008

Donna Prayer: Dear Father, thank you for this evening and thank you for our friends who are gathered here. Thank you for this chance for us to listen to these teachers that you send. Please help us to learn from them and to apply the teachings to our lives in a positive way. We also thank you for all of our blessings Father and we ask you to help us be good stewards of those blessings. In Christ's Michael's name, Amen.

George/JarEl: Good evening. It is I your teacher JarEl. It is good to be back again. And I would like to welcome those who have not been here for a while.

Tonight I would like to speak to you about the brevity of your stay on this planet. For if you do look at it from an eternal perspective, you will realize that your time on this planet is very short. It is barely a blink of an eye in relationship to your Grand Universe career. As you travel onward through the universe you will look back and realize this life did go by fast; that you barely had time to get your life and affairs in order. But you will also look back and some of you will be very happy with the choices you made while you were on this planet. But your time is brief and it will not last forever, at least, not here. And it is a false comfort to imagine that you have all this time in the world to do all the things you need to do here when in reality your time is running out and accidents do happen, accidents that may cut your time shorter. But otherwise, you are on the same time length as everyone else. You will live and die as everyone else. And you may go on living your life ignoring this vital fact, that you will die and therefore you ignore or you don't do the things that you need to do. You don't put your affairs in order the way you should have.

Now I am not here to tell you how you should, you already know this, you already know this path that you need to take. And it is either fear or procrastination that stops you from doing the things necessary to accomplish these small tasks that you set for yourself. Now I imagine that most of you have learned that you should not fear and that you should not let fear stop you from achieving the goals that you have. And that anything worth accomplishing should be done without fear. Now why is it that when it comes to your life and death that you fear so much when you know that it is a reality that will eventually happen. So set your fear aside and move forward in doing the things that matter the most to you and reaching out to those who you have not spoken to in quite a while.

Everyone of you here has imagined how your lives would have turned out or should have turned out and many of you have realized that these goals that you have set up for yourself were not accomplished. But I am here to tell you it is never too late, that it only becomes late when you are no longer here. As long as you are here, you still have that precious time to accomplish these goals. Whatever these goals may be, that is entirely up to you. This is your life that you are living and these are your dreams that you are following. And I am simply reminding you that your life is short, at least your life here on this planet.

Now let's look at this from a world perspective. You can focus the rest of your natural life here on this planet on yourself making sure that you are well both spiritually and physically. Also making sure that your relationships with others are well but what does this accomplish? What effect do you have on the planet itself? It is true that if you do have good relationships with others, it spreads out as a wave, as a ripple that affects others. But if your goals are only local, you will only accomplish a limited amount of effect on this planet. However, if you include the rest of the world as your family and you choose to live out the remainder of your life focusing on how to better this greater family that exists out there, then those ripple-effects will continue out into the world for a very, very long time.

It all depends on who you consider family and who you choose to help, there will be plenty of time to help yourself throughout the morontia realms and onwards towards Paradise. You will have plenty of time to focus on your own life, your own spiritual well-being. But there is very little time that you spend here on this planet. And this planet is your home, it is your birthplace and you will leave it soon, no longer will you return. No longer will you set foot on the earth of Urantia. Your paths will carry you forward onto different worlds, onto different existences, and, you will look back and wonder what has become of Urantia. Did you do enough? Were you effective? Did you change things? Or were you simply forgettable? Were you simply one more person who lived and died on this planet?

You set your challenges, you set your goals. It is up to you to accomplish these goals. Do not let fear stop you. And do not let the impending doom of your own mortality worry you to death. There is nothing new about dying. There is nothing strange about dying. It is a fact of your life and a fact of those other lives that will live long after you have died.

Are there any questions here tonight?

Joe: I have one. I was thinking how there must be some kind of pattern or symmetry or something consistent with each moment, with each segment of time we observe, something maybe about the colors or energy patterns, or sound, or vibration, or something that we observe, or hear, or sense that maybe brings about a more consistent picture of the whole? You know, all these little fragments, there must be something that interconnects each one. And I was wondering if, I don't know if we can really do that here, but where you're from, if the scientists up there have been able to take measurements of their environment and try to see if there is some kind of internal or external consistency or pattern to observations that would create? I wouldn't necessarily say a proof, but give more evidence, you know, maybe even the existence of, you know, God, I mean, I know you can have a philosophical, strong philosophical evidence, but I was thinking maybe there was something that can also support scientific reasoning as well?

George/JarEl: There is a pattern. There is a pattern that you can observe here and now for yourself. There is a deeper pattern, a higher frequency pattern that we are able to perceive and it all has the footprint or thumb print of God. It exists and we are able to observe it in many ways, in all ways. And yes, it does give us proof, but for many of us, that proof was not needed (Norman: Amen) (Joe: true). It is simply a confirmation for us when as mortals survive and move onward and we are able to observe this for ourselves. It became a confirmation for everything we believed in before we had died. And we keep discovering new patterns. As you move inward, towards Paradise, you will observe higher frequency patterns that overlay what you thought was reality. From my point of view, I see your planet and its many varying layers of reality that many of you cannot observe. But when you meditate, when you bring your mind still, you are able to observe a glimpse of this, your mind does perceive this and so does your heart, your metaphorical heart. God is all around you, and God is within you and the pattern of his life is on your life. He is very close to you in more ways than one and one day you will look back at your experiences then and observe the various levels of existence that were all around you but yet you were not aware of this. And perhaps it may be final proof for you then. But the proof has always been in your heart.

Joe: Thanks

George/JarEl: You're welcome. Are there any more questions?

Joe: I guess I have another one, unless others would like to go? Building off the same topic of patterns and symmetry on life, I was reading about something called the Flower of Life and I was wondering if maybe you could talk about that.

George/JarEl: It is an ancient design on your world but represents all life. It is well-designed, it is beautiful, in its symmetry and it represents the artistic heights of your artisans in search for truth, for light and for life. It is just a representation. The real pattern is far more complex, far more intricate. It will take your highest minds, your highest scientists to discover this real pattern. Keep in mind that everything that you find on this planet, every representation of spirituality, of life, of God, is just a limited attempt to find the truth. The source is much greater. The inspirational source is far more superior. And when you look at the pattern as the Flower of Life how much more beautiful the original inspiration is. And that, my friend, will help you come closer to many truths that exist out there as you contemplate these things, for every time you meditate on these concepts you inch closer to the truth, you come much closer to the realities that are out there. And it is good that you look at these things, it is good that you meditate on these things because it will help you. And if anything it is beautiful to look at.

Joe: It makes you wonder which memories have consistency with one another, almost like a puzzle piece. It makes you wonder, in all these instantaneous transactions that we call time, what parts really connect from moment to moment. And, I think in some way, I'm just trying to understand. I guess it's funny because I've almost been trying to, I feel like, while it seems insurmountable to kind of understand almost the un-understandable in a way, it never stops me from trying to connect this puzzle of time and space. And I'm just trying to understand which elements of the memories really hold true value. Well, I think they all do., how they connect, it's exciting.

George/JarEl: As it should be.

Joe: Yeah.

George/JarEl: Many times you are only limited to knowing your part in this big and greater puzzle, but it is exciting to see your connection with others, your connection with time, your connection with the universe, it is eye-opening. And it spreads out your mind so that it grasps higher concepts, higher truths. But always remember that you are a part of all this and that you have a part to play as well in the creation of all reality. You are not just observing, my friend, you are creating as well.

Joe: I appreciate that. Thank you.

George/JarEl: You are welcome. Are there questions here?\

Joe: Stella do you have a question or are you just.raising your hand?

Stella: I'm exercising my fingers.

Joe: Oh.

Stella: Will we be able to look back upon this world in the ages to come to see what is happening?

George/JarEl: Yes you will as I had mentioned earlier, you will from occasion look back and wonder what has become of your planet. And that would be out of your own curiosity, it would be totally dependant on you to make these observations, it will not be something that will constantly be by your side unless you actively research the happenings on this planet. From time-to-time, you will eventually lose much interest because the things that you will be engaged in will be much more fascinating for you than the evolution of this planet. That is not to say that this planet is of no importance, it is simply a fact that many Universal citizens move on and move forward. There is so much to do and so many things to see in the Grand Universe.

Stella: Were you surprised when you died at what you found? (Group: laughter).

George/JarEl: I was shocked. It was very unexpected. But eventually I adapted and I moved forward. I did look back at my planet for many, many years, you could call it an obsession. I was very much interested in the politics of my planet. But eventually I stopped seeing what was happening and allowed for the people on my planet to make their own decisions. And I looked forward in my own life and my path. And I found a way to forget about my own planet. Not in a sense where I no longer cared for them but more like I had faith in what they did, I had faith in my planet surviving and moving forward and getting to the age of light and life. And my concerns were now different. And I hope this helps you one day.

Stella: Will we meet you someday?

JarEl: Yes you will. I see no reason why not. You are all a very special group to me. I have spent many years.

Donna: JarEl, you said you were shocked after you died when you first came upon life after death. Was that because you did not believe before in life after death on the planet you lived on prior to your death?

George/JarEl: I simply did not expect to die.

Donna: Oh (Group: laughter). You did not expect to die?

George/JarEl: Not in the sense where I would not die at all but more like it was too soon for me. But eventually I got over that.

Stella: Did you believe in God before you died?

George/JarEl: We had various religions on our planet.

Stella: You had what?

George/JarEl: various religions.

Stella: Oh.

George/JarEl: And yes I did, in some way, believe in God. Although he was not the core of what I was factoring. It became very exciting for me to discover or like we discover what God was. And this helped me draw attention away from myself and my petty planet, because now I found something real in my life. Now I found focus and direction. Now I knew who I was, who I wanted to be. And how all my life I had focused on things that did not matter. I had perceived enemies that I did not have. I created walls around my life when there should have not been. And the search for God became the most exciting thing that I had ever done in my petty mortal life. And when I discovered this connection, I found all these tremendous friends that guided me throughout my entire path. I felt like I had arrived home for the first time in my entire life. As you all will eventually feel.

Norman: Were you surprised when you survived?

George/JarEl: That was part of my shock as well, this new realization that I was somewhere else that I was no longer on my planet. The initial shock was that I died at a relatively young age. And the secondary shock was that I was somewhere new and unknown to me. And yes, the third and final shock was that I had qualified for survival, when I had already written myself out. But the Universe is very merciful and forgiving, it embraces all of you, even the most wretched. You will find that you are loved and cared for and that you do have a place in this world, in this universe. And that one day you will find the home that I found. And with that I leave you, goodnight.

Donna: Thank you JarEl.
