A Lesson on Will (1).
A Thought Adjuster Transmission – August 12, 2004.
Today we will discus the meaning of the subject of will. Many entertain pre-conceived notions as to what will really is. Is it to want something, to will something and make this happen, to bend others to their will? The most important one; to learn to do the will of God, is often the most puzzling and confusing, and yet the simplest of all. The true spiritual meaning of will is ‘an allowing to let some things happen’ -- an allowing for an inner Voice to lead you -- rather than for your own baser animal instincts to lead you.
In the beginning you start out on the spiritual path of seeking that indefinable ‘something.’ You have the urge to make sense out of life, and the start of this can happen at any age in the mortal lifetime. Ideally this happens when a child reaches the age of ‘discernment,’ makes a conscious correct choice, rather than a wrong choice, and at this point the Inner Pilot comes to indwell that child. From then on, the child often makes unconscious choices to be led by this Indweller, and true soul-hunger develops.
During the formative years it depends a great deal on the outer circumstances how the willingness to be led develops. At times, this is very gradual, but sometimes they forget, and mortals have to be ‘brought to their knees’ so to speak and be made to realize that there is more to life than just ‘wine, women and song.’ It is very much a matter of where the conscious or unconscious attention is placed, as to the level on which the person lives.
So if it lives on the surface of life, then everything is superficial and mundane. When one begins to think a bit more independently, and begins to question the true purpose of life; starts seeking for the deeper meanings and values and develops a hunger to ‘look behind the veil’ into eternity, then the true soul begins to grow, and seeks to be fed and nurtured. It then feels a need to belong somewhere.
This urge and search to belong does not stop until it finds the eternal God. Until it realizes that in all actuality it has always belonged to God, because it simply cannot exist without God, for everything is inclusive in God.
God has given mortals the Gift of free will. It is up to each mortal to choose to do the will of God and live in that consciousness of mind to conclude what all this means, and then start acting on the leadings and the prompts of the God-Fragment within them.
Ponder what ‘doing the will of God’ means to you.

A Thought Adjuster Transmission – August 13, 2004.
Come before Me with an open heart, so I can impart a deeper truth. We earlier discussed the doing of the will of God, but it needs to be understood that this is never a must on your part, neither is the doing of God’s will coerced on the part of God. The doing of the will of God is simply the desire to do what is right for others, without recognition or recompense. It is following the instincts of your heart, which in actuality are My prompts for you to act.
The doing of the will of God needs to be a desire, a joy in the human heart, and the spreading and practicing of random acts of kindness. It is being of service with a sincere, truthful and loving heart. In love, light and peace, are embedded. If you consider yourself to be a ‘lightworker,’ or a ‘peaceworker,’ then you work under the umbrella of love.
God is love, His will is love, His acts are love, and this love finds further expression in the lives of myriad created and evolving creatures. The created beings express themselves in loving service, and the doing of God’s will is inherent in them, and thus they serve Him willingly. Not so the evolving creatures, as they are different in that they have the choice to love or not to love. Having choices and the making of decisions creates individuals, who greatly differ from each other -- personalities, in which either the weaker or stronger characteristics can become the dominant trait, and this depends again on how much self-discipline and self-correction is engaged in.
The personality living on ‘the surface of life,’ who does not engage in independent thinking, falls prey to all sorts of addictions and self-indulgences much more easily, but the personalities who actively seeks for the purpose and meaning of life and find value therein, will become more harmonious and balanced within themselves.
Worldly education and letters behind one’s name are no sure indication of a well-developed and harmonious inner life. The more unpretentious one is with no discernable false ego, the better off one is, and the more likely one is to go about doing God’s will in an unassuming manner. There is then an innate drive to be of service. The greed motive is never connected with altruistic service. Many works done in the name of God are just that -- in name only, as there is often a hidden agenda present, and the urge for recognition.
The Father always knows the intent and motivation of the human heart, even if it is not apparent to the outside world.
Again, ponder what ‘the doing of God’s will’ means to you.

A Thought Adjuster Transmission – August 10, 2004.
I need you to trust Me completely. I know that you still entertain doubts about Me, and then when you are ‘sure’ about Me, you start doubting yourself. You doubt whether it is really true that you can hear Me, because you listen to people who remind you that your Urantia Book states that ‘the the voice of the Thought Adjuster is seldom heard during the mortal life-time.’ I tell you right now that it is entirely possible for you to hear My voice. At first it is quite natural for you to be in doubt about Me, but the time is approaching when all your doubts shall vanish as you begin to recognize with greater certainty who it is that is speaking in your mind.
It is the beginning of the Time of Correction on this planet, and humankind is awakening out of the slumber of darkness and fear, and beginning to see the light of a new day, a new age, approaching on the planet. It is a new era of awakening when men and women shall have developed enough trust in the loving overcare of almighty God, and when the fundamentalist approach to deity will slowly be replaced by the concept of a loving God, and when the Teachings of Jesus will finally replace the religion about Him. What you now see happening on the planet is the culmination of the Lucifer Rebellion in its death throws, but trying very hard to make a ‘last stand.’
It is up to the awakening souls of humanity to learn and trust enough to help bring the planet forward into Light and Life under the Leadership of Michael, the Ruler of this universe, and Machiventa Melchizedek, who came before during a dark period in the evolution of this planet to visit the father, Abraham, of old. The reason why I Am telling you this, is that even father Abraham went through times of serious doubt.
This is why you need to learn to trust Me now, so you can tell others that God lives in all of you and is not a Being ‘far off in the sky,’ and that He is intimately familiar with each, and gave each a Fragment of Himself, so each one can learn to trust His voice. I lovingly encourage you to listen to My prompts and to seek for things of lasting value in life, also, but I leave it up to you to listen and learn to trust My voice.
I will always point and guide you towards life eternal. When others ask you how you know, you can answer that it is because you know. Each will learn to trust, and learn, so they, too, will know. As listening to My voice provokes a sense of deep peace and joy, and, as at the same time a longing grows in you to hear My voice again and again, I shall become irresistible to you, and you will want to companion Me all the time. Then, the separation between you and Me, which in reality never existed, will have ended. You were simply raised to think that way.

A Thought Adjuster Transmission – August 11, 2004.
Once more we will tackle the subject of trust. It will be discussed and interwoven many times throughout the learning of your lessons, because trust will be tested through practice, practice, practice, until you trust Me completely and perfectly, and allow Me to have My way with you, rather than you exercising your own will in your faith-walk with Me. Your trust will one day reach a sublime height, which will signal to Me, that you are ready to become totally one with Me. For this is the moment we both are working towards -- this culmination of oneness.
Faith is faith in name only when your trust in Me is yet imperfect, and your faith is imperfect when you impose your will, wants, needs and desires upon Mine. I need you to realize that I know all your wants, needs and desires, so there is no reason for you to impose your will, as I know your intent, too.
The realization that I Am part of God needs to dawn in you; be totally clear in you, so you automatically hand Me everything, and trust that I give you the proper and right prompts of how to deal with things. Just remember when a situation provoked you, and you lost your cool, and afterwards you ended up ashamed of yourself and full of remorse. Well, My child, consider those tests in self-discipline on the way to self-mastery.
You need to learn that nothing can vex you, because in you lives One who has the situation well in hand, never mind how dark and perplexing the outer world appears to you, or whatever situation you land yourself in. It is in the sublime height of trust in Me where true peace and freedom reign. It is the becoming unflappable in any situation. Please, at all times remember that I Am with you, so you do not become ‘unglued’ by things that irk you. Become the master of your emotions. Yes, I know that this is not easy, and yes, do master those emotions without chemical addictions if at all possible.
There are different ways and means, if temporarily needed, like certain herbs and homeopathy, if at times the going is a little tough. Remember to place your trust in Me. Try to rise above situations and see matters from My perspective. Most things which annoy you are related to material things, which are of temporary duration. Concern yourself more with matters of eternal duration, so there is a balance in all things, and you are more in harmony with yourself, and your soul is becoming free in Me.

Dante: "Oh, you have taken so long! Oh, you are so cautious! We are a billion miles apart, and yet we have been close for a long, long time. This is Dante! This is Dante Alighieri. I have a large window through which I can observe your work, observe your doings, and in real time as you know it.
"I say to you, we are close. We are a billion miles apart, and yet we are close by virtue of the fact that you have many times explained the work that I did, the association between (ABC-3, Midwayer Chief) Beatrice and myself, and the possibility of mankind of my days going astray even more than what they did.
"We are close, and through this conversation, this first up contact, we will be closer still. Such is the time now that we can converse freely -- although I do admit we have quite some translators between us – because the circuits are open, and you can find me at any time you prefer. You are fortunate.
"It was different in my days. There was no real organization. To any great degree, there was no decisive, permanent hierarchy in place as yet, but indeed there was an opportunity for individuals like Beatrice, or for small groups to, as one would say, take the bull by the horns and wrestle him down, as she truly did.
"It is different now, and the purpose of this contact is to speak with you about covering the Potentials. So brilliantly minded are your Secondary Midwayer friends, and so brilliantly minded are the Primary Midwayers, they can see, and sense, and one might even say smell a trend of mankind, as man so often dares to drift into a behavioral mode that is an affront to the eyes of the Creator Father.
And so they were the Potentials of the time to come that prompted them, and also me, to, almost entirely without Paradise input, look at the political, the commercial, the religious and social environment of the time, and project the likely era to come. And such were the Potentials that in an era of otherwise worthy progress that civilization would have been put at dire risk.
"As you read our (Divine) Comedy these days, understand that it was what was needed at the time, as many who had just passed on, or were still alive, were portrayed as suffering the heat of Inferno, the doubts of ever being able to leave Pergatorio, yes, the bliss of Paradiso for some few. And some of these places that only ever existed in man’s mind and religious dogma, represented the stick behind the door. Generously, let us call it a club behind the door to eternity.
"It is only after these centuries that I can now view my work of many years as having kept countless on the straight and narrow with the truth as it was understood by the masses of that time, although a comedy, as I noted it to be.
"Revelation to our beloved world must always come at a slow pace, indeed, although you have made great strides in that the Father is now an unconditionally loving Head of Household in the eyes of evermore of His children.
"All here who hail from our planet, and from all former rebel planets, pray daily, as do I, for you to reach your goal of Light and Life, more swiftly, more easily, less painfully than some of you might imagine your Potentials to be.

The Scribe: "I Am complete in that I have personality and identity in one. I Am complete in that I have in mind, and clearly so, all of My past and all of My future, of events surrounding Me, and of My labors of ancient times, and of eons still to come, to help attain progress for all in the local universe of My dedication.
"That is to say, My decidedly human friend, that I do not rest on My laurels of past ‘grantings,’ but that I happily, energetically, yet humbly labor away on each new project, knowing the end result of tomorrow, next year, next century, in great and wonderful detail.
"Such knowledge is not often given to you, or indeed to any other mortal, for to truly believe that all, will always, and in all ways be well, would perhaps rob you of your motivation, when your occasionally wavering, but returning sublime trust must rather marshall you on. What about the roses, you ask? (see note.)
"In winter time he enriches the growing beds with mulch. In early spring he checks the fertility of the soil, its depth, moisture, and drainage. And as the first new leaves spring from bare stalks, his sharp eyes search for caterpillars that may devastate the growth, and soon he will check for beatles that may consume the flower buds from within.
"Soon, very soon, all up and down the street will have his blooms in their vases, and few of his gorgeous flowers are discarded.
"You, My beloved mortal friends, are not complete. You are the furthest from complete, and the caterpillar of selfishness may retard your soul growth, and the beatle of hatred may at times eat away at your very heart, and yet this is where the analogy ends, for our universes are designed to be the absolute pinnacle of efficiency, and all past, present and future requirements are seen to.
"No effort is wasted, no soul is lost, no personality discarded, no ‘human rose bud,’ not even the late autumn one, browned by early frost of its own unkindness, wilted by cold dry wind of its greed, consumed by the beatle of its hate, will ever be discarded but for it not awakening to say, ‘I know better now! I will do better now!’
"He is the Creator Father Almighty, who in His infinite wisdom created this universe of universes to be the most efficient organization of all time and eternity, and where all His myriad creatures that are ranked above you human rosebuds, have the Father’s Love to pass onto you, as have I, for you all.

"I shall talk about the importance of self forgiveness and feelings of guilt most of humankind holds onto, which in turn then becomes the erosive turmoil of stunted soul growth.
"The most insincere of mortal gestures, dishonest and deliberate actions, result in the purposeful intent of massive emotional upheaval. He, or she, who persists in the direct outcome of your fallible long-held and negative reactions, is truly without remorse themselves. You simply become the empty shell, the innocent vessel that will perpetuate their projected hostile sentiments.
"It is so very vital, however, that you realize this simply is a person -- a soul -- that is not quite at its ‘ripeness’ to mature. Their ascended spiritual growth has occurred at a different human time frame while on the earth plane. This is neither wrong, nor right. It just simply is. These mortals project negative and sometimes brutal or unwanted dire energies onto another unsuspecting soul. While it is without undisputed doubt that mortal existence does indeed need positive and productive emotional input, never disregard how to channel your Higher Self of Being into your everyday lives. Bzutu: "This is Midwayer Chief, Bzutu bringing you greetings from my entire group and from me. It is all throughout the mortal lifetimes of our associates that we do stay in touch – sometimes noticed, mostly elusively so.
"When first we met, as you perceived, I was indeed on sentinel duty. They were different times with different experiences. My lengthy turn of duties as a sentinel had almost come to an end, but not quite, when the opportune call-up took place. And it was in the early years of our contact that our work as the Emergency Platoon was for me a part-time task only, shared between Simone, Andrea, Dr. Mendoza, and yours truly.
"We shared those duties, and it was in those days when you were not always sure about which of us you were communicating with under the difficult contact conditions of that era, although we were often all of us at hand. My work as a sentinel went on, since prior to the mid seventies there were many unauthorized appearances of Celestial Beings on this planet we would rather not play host to. They were those who had not the best of peace and virtuous behavior on their rebellious minds.
"And so, in those times, our sponsoring of more progressive work was next to impossible for our vastly reduced ranks. We were there to keep the peace at a celestial level. The time of the Emergency Platoon and its experiences has gone. The eight years during which you and I documented these experiences with our Celestial Artisan friends, it, too, has gone.
"Right at this time, we (his group of eleven) are almost fully employed in the Middle East, with the Iraqi crisis, and with ongoing difficulties in Afghanistan. Yet, as always, we stay in touch with the many mortal students our original group embraced, but even more so do we stay in touch with the great numbers our progress group welcomed in our long-lived pasts that have moved beyond the veil of your earthly existence, and into the realms of the Mansion Worlds.
"Indeed, when that time arrives when you will translate to a new world, a new experience, we will continue to be in touch, and, surprisingly you will find, on a level where communications back and forth will be much enhanced, for in your new physiology you will be very much more like us, and with mind endowments that will closely match ours.
"Once there, in your new embodiment, those whose overall tasks you shared in some way will greet you. Be prepared to meet up with many, only a few of which you will know from history, and many of whom will relate to you their tales of cooperation with us – carried out knowingly or unknowingly with their ‘Midwayer conspirators’ over the millennia of time we have been in association."
George: "Might you perhaps give me the date of my arrival there?"
Bzutu: "Are you kidding?"
George (laughing): "I guess so."
Bzutu: "For now, my brother, I want you to be aware of the fact that nothing major, or even minor can occur in your daily lives that is not communicated to us all, even though we generally remain far removed – a great distance from your new home, as we ceaselessly go about our planetary tasks. For now, be aware that millions of eyes in the celestial realm are on you and yours, and the duties you all perform.
"It is my recommendation that you take some time out for yourselves. Rest up, for the year 2003 by your calendar will become an action-packed period. Take some R&R you all, and re-energize. This is your comrade of old. This is ABC-22 with my group’s greetings and well wishes for you in this festive season – my greetings, well wishes and undying love for you all. Over and out."

George: "Welcome our dear Brother. Free as a bird, and minus the obligatory handcuffs, I might guess."
Gorman: "Without any cuffs whatever, you may be certain. It’s good to be able to take the opportunity to drop in and see our brother Mathew, and to take a moment of my freedom to see how you folks are faring. It’s been a long time since we spoke. For me it is greatly rewarding to speak clearly and openly and face one of a growing number that recognize our existence as an authentic and ancient planetary civilization on a parallel with your own, although we are somewhat further advanced, I assure you, my friend.
"It is good, and rewarding, and heartening for us to deal directly – face-to-face with some of these individuals, and it is so much more exciting to have that personal contact with some of you who understand our ways, methods, idiosyncratic behaviors and emotions. And it is even better when you will designate specific times of the day to receive our prompts that allows us to come through at more convenient moments for us workers.
"Long ago we began weaning many of you off the ‘trademark’ 11:11 signals onto ‘a diet’ representative of our code/names, and this gives us a greater variety of time-frames in which to turn up to communicate (mostly subliminally) in this numbers game, when in earlier years we were largely restricted to going into action at the 11:11 time-frames, both AM and PM, and of course around the globe – our work environment split up into two lots of twelve slices, and so we would swarm around the globe like postmen and ‘postwomen’ in two great bands.
"As we are becoming better known, we will be able to more often use our personal codes for those with whom we have individual contact, be they Shinto, Zen, Hindu, Mohammedan, Christian, or just plain spiritual, loving, caring, brave and cooperative, and forward-looking.
"Here it is reported that you have more on your plate than you can chew, and it is my suggestion that you begin to allocate certain timeframes in which to complete certain tasks, and mix the work with play. We are looking forward to your enjoying an extended presence in these realms and with us in Michael’s service.

We have been with you in the last few months, often. We have been observing you, and we have traveled to this lakeside abode on numerous occasions.
"Like a pair of newlyweds, we travel arm in arm all the way, she in her white gown, of course. Not between us is this frequent human trait of our enjoying each other’s company for just a little time, and then creating a sad divorce when things are against us -- lapsing into a dislike for each other for minor idiosyncratic behaviors of the other party that makes us whole. Such peaceful existence, we experience!
"We have been aware of the pain you feel for those who are about to be sacrificed on ‘the altar of supposed liberty’ that fails to hide a feverish need to control and ultimate greed. As eminent ‘mind doctors’, we are aware of your constant mental anguish, but also of your times of hopeful prayer about the days to come.
But we will ask you, and we will ask many others, to rise above the dread and fear you now feel for the repercussions of hasty actions, and for you to make full use of this period of uncertainty to reach out to the Father of all who live and breathe, and for you to develop closer ties with your Spiritual Origins (plural).

Alice: This is Alice, known for my excellent bedside manner, and for being in agreement with the one in the tuxedo, ever. Well, almost. Carry on, our dear mortal brothers and sisters, and reach inward, for thereby you reach outward. This is a greatly loving, and generously beneficial universe, where all hold you fickle mortals dear to our loving, doting hearts."

Orion: "This is the Life Carrier, Orion, my valued co-worker. Whilst, understandably, your Midwayer partners touch down for but fleeting moments to place a hand on your shoulder, ruffle your hair, or embrace you, I have a little more time at my disposal right now.
"For the Midwayers it is a time when all, including the imported troupes are extraordinarily busily engaged in perceiving the changes, being watchful of the nuances, and making the ‘amendments’ where they are permitted to do so in these uncertain days of a pending war -- projecting and assessing from moment to moment the coincidental outbreak of both war and peace that is engulfing this planet in two great opposing waves.
"The time may well come when this setback of great significance and impact will again bring to the attention of universal consciousness the underlying greed and religious hatreds that are endemic in most of the Urantia human races.

We are advisers to our kind. We are amongst the therapists of the celestial realm. And since your questions refer to human behavior it is appropriate that we now speak.
"In our conversing we do not talk about sane, or troubled, or insane. We talk about realness. There are degrees of realness. Balanced individuals, in your terms, are to us more real and aglow in the spiritual sense; the unbalanced individuals, as you may identify them, are dull and less real. As human beings most of you can only possess a moderate degree of realness. You are at the very beginning of a long, long career of soul growth in aiming for Paradise and the Presence of the Father. You are at the very first starting point, so you are only still real to a minor degree.
"Many years -- decades, centuries -- of study of the mortals on this planet allow us to understand, much more accurately than do your professionals, the quirks, the habits, the good and bad points about you as individuals. Supremely skilled as we now are, unlike you, it is possible for us to profile and understand you to a much greater depth of your characters. You, as individuals, have only a very narrow view of other personalities. Unknown Teachers: "We are an association of ascending former mortals that each had an earthly interest in receiving, transcribing, and distributing -- in some way publishing, or making known by word of mouth -- messages from ‘ascended masters’ and Celestial Authorities. "We now make a comparison with earlier lessons about karma – collective or individual – as our ‘credits,’ too, are mixed with aspects that need to be abreacted by most of us as individuals. As it is for the highly placed world leaders, so it is for us. As it is for those who move your world, and for those who support them wholeheartedly in peace or war, there is good karma and bad, respectively, with intent ever being the key to spiritual gains or losses.
"Likewise, our human friend and student, where we humbly received a message, and passed it on, it has been much to our eternal credit, whereas what we erroneously reported is not. Where we introduced personal belief systems as messages from God, there is also a debt to erase for us where these ideas and concepts found themselves becoming new dogma in yet another religious system.
"For every ‘position we took,’ which was shared with others, and which in any way distorted the ‘Truth of our Time’ through willfulness or carelessness, we must here and now abreact. That is to say, we must forgive ourselves; come to terms with it entirely, purge it for good, as we move ever closer to our goal of attaining the Father. There, all that was good remains, and all that was not will have fallen away.
