WOODS CROSS GROUP

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. I am enjoying this serene evening. I feel a great amount of love and connection with you each.  Even though we are small in number the energy feels just right. Some of the time the excitement of the group is a cause for static, so I find this evening to be a peaceful conduit for the lesson.

I see you each as people of action and for that I am pleased to also learn from you. We do well to wait upon the guidance of the Spirit and yet, many times individuals are afraid to go forth with action. The Spirit can nudge you in many different ways and the subconscious or ego, can reject the Spirit’s suggestion. Inside of the adult mind there is still partially the mind of a child. The child’s mind tends to be fearful and afraid to be one who is willing to take action when the Spirit guides. As you experience life and grow close to  the Spirit, become strengthened by knowing spiritual things, the adult  mortal mind is more willing to adjust in thinking and therefore take action in  life’s circumstances.

I am MARY, again greetings to you, my friends.  I can relate with this evening’s lesson because I feel I was a person of action and yet, my thoughts were rash. I am again made to think of the Master at Gethsemane who struggled to persuade the inner-child’s mind to adjust to the Father’s will. His struggle to release the Spirit poisons and take in spiritual knowledge is what had strengthened Him for what was to come. The Master experienced betrayal, mind pain, along with physical pain, frustration and thoughts of defeat.

As we ponder the rest of the Master’s life from that point, we can see He acted with grace and composed His emotions. He could have stood in front of His accusers and made an emotional plea for His life and yet, He stood silent with strength and true grace. We know that much of His strength was gained from His experience with the human loneliness and reconciliation of the mortal mind to adapt to the Father’s will.

As we have practiced the spiritual life, we can see how our most difficult moments strengthened our minds to be active in bringing forth a beneficial solution.  I know from my own experience, I always had learned a great deal from being humbled time after time. The moments of feeling humiliation in my experiences, I learned to be quiet in the busy mind and listen for the Father’s guidance. However, in the busy mind I had difficulty remembering all I had learned from practicing the spiritual life.

Friends, this is an effort that takes time and patience. It is important to remember the help we have instead of dwelling in our loneliness and child’s-mind. The Spirit of Truth is continually active in helping mortals to grow and be strengthened to cope with anything mortal life has to offer. Your indwelling Father is a source of comfort if you will simply seek Him out. Our Mother Spirit is a source of intelligence and if you should call upon Her, She will aid in control with your emotions and issues of Spirit poisons. We have help. We have all that we need.

The Correcting Time is teaching Father’s children how to live their best mortal life and have faith in the life to come. I know from experience that your Spirit can feel over-whelmed and burdened. This is an open door to communicating with the Spirit, if you can remember to see the whole picture. You each know how it feels to be a victim of life’s circumstances and how different we can feel when we are close to the Spirit and feel empowered. Time is a teacher.

I am again happy to see your beautiful faces and always is my door opened, as is Abraham’s. Our love for you is continually growing and with that we shall close. We bid you to go in peace. Until next time, Shalom.
