ABRAHAM

PEACE

MARCH 30, 2003

I am ABRAHAM. Greetings. Our gratitude goes out to those who carry our Mission forward, those who host meetings, those who transmit or transcribe, those who organize, those who fellowship, those who minister and spread the good news. You each play an important role in carrying on with Michael’s Mission purpose.

We also express our gratitude to our beloved Father and His perfectly organized universe. While the world appears to be in constant chaos, those who chose to live a life in the spirit will take comfort in knowing Father knows everything, and all is well looked after and attended to. This evening we will speak a few more words on the subject of peace.

Most inner turmoil that individuals have stems from the feeling of being out of control, or controlled by someone or something else. Life is busy and so it should be. You should be diligent in your life activities, but always is there a balance to be mindful of. Of course, you must work to support your material life. Of course, you must take time for children and the family life. There is always something that motivates you to stay ahead of the game.

Anxiety comes when you are feeling overwhelmed and behind. Anxiety comes when there is not effort put forth toward maintaining balance. Of course, you have your material responsibilities, but to neglect the spiritual is an invitation to inner turmoil. The challenge of mortal living is to grow ever closer toward God, to be like God and to maintain a human and divine life.

Many say, ‘I could be more likely to be more God-like should I not have to spend so much time working.’ Employment is fertile ground in which to practice your spiritual ministry. You can view your place of employment as you share a common burden with other individuals or you work as a family toward a common goal, a common good.

You can view your employment as something that controls you and takes from you, or you can view it as something that provides for you and your family on many levels. Of course, Father would never want you to be employed at something you dislike terribly, no. This situation would call for you to be active in seeking other avenues, other opportunities, yes.

You also have your home life which many times appears to be a place of chaos instead of a place of peace, especially in this day and age where there are so many single parents, blended families, cultural and societal influences. There is a great deal of issues to attend to. Many individuals live in somewhat toxic relationships and no, Father would not have you put forth your best effort year after year only to meet with misery, and continue to stay in the toxic relationship. Again, this would be your choice to be active to find other avenues.

Mortal life has many areas that could be a breeding ground for stress and of course, this affects the mind, body and spirit. Should you desire peace then you should work toward it. You can maintain a certain amount of control and order in your life. You need not be overwhelmed to the point that you feel controlled by your life circumstances. You have power; you have intelligence, but best of all, you have Father. You are not alone. He does not seek to challenge you to see how much you can take before you break, no.

Think about your life. You would agree that it is the way it is because of the choices you have made. Of course, there are exceptions, but for the most part you have made your life what it is. You have control to a great degree and you can create inner peace and mindal clarity. You must remember that all worldly circumstances are working toward an ultimate good.

Be aware to keep worldly issues at an intellectual level. Do not personalize it to the point that you have moved from the intellect to being paralyzed emotionally--also the same goes for friends, family, coworkers and acquaintances. Their lives are not yours. You are a part of their life, but to worry yourself to the point of anxiety is to sever that God-connection, which would certainly give aid to those you have concern for. Forget not that God is many things, but above all else, He is intelligent.

This week take time to view those troubled aspects of your life that continue to cause you unrest. Simplify if you must. Detach if you must. Be not afraid to take control and be a creator of peace. Many of you are the heart of your home. How you feel or portray your attitude is the tune that is set for the rest of your family. I have time for only a few questions. Proceed if you will.

RYAN: Hello Abraham. My dad and I haven’t been to the meeting for awhile. I am very glad to be back. Is there anything you can say to me and my dad that would be helpful?

ABRAHAM: I am with joy to look upon you, my son. You are indeed bright and you have great strength. I realize the home life you each expected is not what is reality. Have not fear. Do not lose faith. Continue to make effort in creating peace. You each know those things which wreak havoc. You know you each possess a power to have a more organized and peaceful life. Have not worry. Another question?

LUKE: Abraham, with my wife coming in tomorrow, it is very helpful what you said about not personalizing her life and who she is. Is there anything else that you can help me with when she comes into town to move things forward in our relationship?

ABRAHAM: Certainly. Luke, you must be true to who you are and allow her to be the same. You cannot make yourself happy by changing who you are so that you will be loved. Continue on with you lighthearted attitude while she is here and have not worry about the deeper issues. Remember where you each came from. At some point in the beginning of your relationship there was a more pure love, less conditional. Work toward finding that again. Is this helping? (Yes. Thank you.)

JEDADIAH: If the war mortals are experiencing did not come from the Father, what source does it come from? (Repeat the question.) If the war us mortals are experiencing does not come from the Father, what source does it come from?

ABRAHAM: The war does not come from the Father. Is that your question? (What source does it come from?) Man, of course. The war is wholly mans choice. There are universal laws to be followed or there will be repercussions. On an experimental evolutionary planet such as yours there indeed needs to be majority of agreed upon laws for there to be world peace. Absolutely. This world peace does indeed come with a price. As the world moves closer to the stages of Light and Life the understanding will be made clear, and individuals will not seek to be superior and all-powerful. There will be that inner knowing that all are children of God, and all are deserving of a fair mortal life. It is entirely mans choice to war. I however believe that this planet is working toward its highest and best good. The majority of individuals seek for the well-being of the whole. It is just a small percentage of people who seek the greater self-glory at the expense of others. Is this answering? (Yes. Thank you.) You’re welcome. Good question. One more question.

ANN RAYEL: Abraham, if that is the case, then how do we discern which is evil and which is good. Maybe the act seems evil, but maybe it has a higher good. So how can we discern?

ABRAHAM: That is for each and every individual to decide with their own free will choice. The Fragment of Father is bestowed to every normal minded individual. That is what will guide you toward light. The understanding of evil versus good does indeed come with time and experience. A small child cannot expect to understand the larger concepts of light and dark, but indeed from the mind-set of where he is, even he knows bad and good. All are with free will. It is the individual’s own choosing to know good and evil for themselves. If you have not experienced evil, how could you know good? I do believe the Internal Father, time and experience, will be the best teacher. Is this helping? (Yes. Thank you.) You’re welcome. Good question.

With that I must take my leave. Know that you each empower me to become better each time we meet. I am with deep love and affection for you each. Until next time, shalom.
